A post-human frontier defense in the year 2807.

In a distant future where humanity has nearly vanished, Earth is a decaying battlefield. The last remaining cities are protected by autonomous machines, guarding the few surviving humans from the horrors outside.

You are stationed at a remote border outpost—one of the final lines between civilization and chaos. Each night, waves of corrupted beings—zombies born from failed human experiments—crawl out of the wastelands. They are relentless. They are evolving.

Your mission:  

🛡️  Hold the perimeter. Don't shoot Ghosties. Kill Drainers.

⚡ Maintain the gate’s energy.

💀 Do not let the breach happen.

As the night deepens, so does the pressure. The silence between attacks is louder than the screams.

Nightshift is a JAM prototype focused on atmosphere, tension, and minimal UI storytelling.  

It’s not a complete game—yet. But it’s a glimpse into a world where survival is no longer a goal… it’s a ritual.
